Requirements
1)
Students must know all previous belt training requirements along with any
and all training techniques, physical and cognitive, discussed and taught
within the dojang. 2) WTF Pattern - Tae Guek Yuk
Jang (Water). Meaning and number of steps. 3) ITF Pattern
- Toi Gye. Meaning and number of steps. Why is it called this? Review this

4) Purple Belt One Steps. 5)Kuk
Sool Hap Ki Do: Age and Rank Requirement criteria. *Students at this rank must
be Thirteen years or older to learn Hap Ki Do. *All Brown, Red and Black Belt
ranked students are taught Hap Ki Do.

Bong Hyung - Jung Bong, Bong IL, and Bong Chi Hyungs. Demonstration of proper/appropriate
carrying and twirling of a bong. 8)
Outstanding attendance of classes. 9)
Attendance and completion of Friday night fitness/pre-test prior to Saturday's
promotional test. *This is typically an eight to ten hour workout just prior
to a student's Brown Belt rank testing. 10)
Completion of ALL physical criteria requirements. Basic Physical Requirement
Criteria: Jumping Jacks 200 Push Ups 3 sets of 30 Crunches/Sit
Ups 4 sets of 50 Mountain Climbers 3 sets of 30 Leg Raises 4 sets of 30
Burpees 3 sets of 15 Jogging 2 to 5 miles ** - Note, this is the very
basic physical criteria which is needed for approval to test for Second Brown

Promotional Test Sheet filled out and signed. *Obtain permission to test
directly from Master Karmon Keppers, Mr. Randy Mertes and Dr. Renee Taylor
14) Any other martial arts information which is given during classes.
15) Minimum time in grade is three months. However, students may need
to remain at this present rank for up to nine months, depending upon attendance,
knowledge of all rank curriculum listed and permission to test as listed above.
