Testing Requirements

1) Students must know all previous belt training requirements along with
any and all training techniques, physical and cognitive, discussed and
taught within the dojang. Curriculum changes may be made at the discretion
of Sr. Master De Witt.

2) WTF Pattern - Tae Guek IL, Yi, Sahm, Sarh, Oh, Yuk Jang - Meaning and number
of steps.

3) ITF Pattern - Toi Gye. Meaning and number of steps. Why is it called this?
*Know and demonstrate ALL WTF & ITF Forms taught from White Belt through this rank.

4) Third Purple Belt One Steps. (Pan Gwon Sul Techniques) ALL ONE STEPS.

5) Nine self defense techniques against wrist, nine against clothing grabs.

6) Chuk IL Hyung & Chuk Yi Hyung - Juhl Bong Hyungs.

7) Bong Hyungs - Jung Bong, Bong IL Hyung and Bong Chi Hyung.
Demonstration of proper/appropriate carrying and twirling of a bong.

8) Outstanding attendance of classes. NO below average school grades and NO
in school suspensions.

9) Attendance and completion of Friday night fitness/pre-test prior to
Saturday's promotional test. *This is typically an eight to ten hour workout
just prior to a student's Brown Belt rank testing.

10) Completion of ALL physical criteria requirements.
Basic Physical Requirement Criteria:
Jumping Jacks 200
Push Ups 5 sets of 30
Crunches/Sit Ups 5 sets of 50
Mountain Climbers 5 sets of 30
Leg Raises 5 sets of 30
Burpees 5 sets of 20
Jogging 2 to 5 miles
** - Note, this is the very basic physical criteria which is needed for
approval to test for Second Brown rank.

12) *Obtain permission to test directly from Master Karmon Keppers,
Mr. Randy Mertes and Dr. Renee Taylor

13) Any other martial arts information which is given during classes.

14) Minimum time in grade is four months. However, students may need
to remain at this present rank for up to nine months, depending upon
attendance, knowledge of all rank curriculum listed and permission to test
as listed above.
